Anna University Online Admission Process to Begin Soon
- Anna University has started admission process for 534 engineering colleges affiliated to it.
- Anna University has set up 42 special centres to facilitate the admission process for candidates.
Anna University will start their online application for the engineering courses from the first week of May. The university has 534 engineering colleges affiliated to it that offer various B.E./ B.Tech. courses and 42 special centres have been set up to facilitate the admission process for candidates. Students can apply online for admission to these colleges without the 10+2 marks as the result is awaited.
The verification of documents will also take place at the centres of the Anna University itself before the counselling procedure starts for the academic session 2018-19. The merit or rank list will be prepared and released later and based on this the candidates will be called for the counselling on the basis of the ranks. The counselling process of the university is known as Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), for the admission to B.E/ B.Tech courses

However, the varsity has announced the counselling for the sports quota students, differently abled students and the heirs of freedom fighters. It will take place in the Anna University Complex.
