Anna University to Organise Workshop on Deep Learning Technique

The Department of Computer Science of College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University is organising a two-day workshop on Deep Learning Technique for Language Processing, Image, Speech & Text. The workshop will be held on 10 and 11 November 2017 at Turning Hall, College of Engineering, Guindy Anna University, Chennai.

Deep Learning is the roadway for Artificial Intelligence. Deep Learning is a sub-set of Machine Learning and with its rapid development, problems like Image, Speech, Text, Computer Vision and Language processing have better results.

Deep Learning is completely based on Artificial Neural Networks. Artificial Neural Networks is just a neural network trying to mimic Human Brain. The Structure of a Neural Network is like any other network, there is an interconnected web of nodes, which are neurons which are joined together. Its main function is to receive number of inputs, perform complex calculation and then use the output to solve the problems. Deep Learning algorithms can outperform any other already made algorithms, which makes it one of the most exciting topic to learn.

The Workshop will be conducted in order to educate and update its participants about existing machine learning research, new industrial innovations and software, which can prove to be very helpful while dealing with large-scale data in Language, Image, Speech & Text Processing.
