Three-Day Annual Fest of XLRI, 'Ensemble 2016' Concludes on a High Note
‘The Next Gen Leader’ event was a part of Xavier School of Management's fest where selected participants from top B-Schools fought out the battle for the most promising leader.
The three-day annual fest of Xavier School of Management ‘Ensemble 2016’ concluded on a high note on November 13, 2016. The major highlight of the event was the Lucky Ali concert night. The well-known singer mesmerised the audience with his songs and performance on the XLRI football ground. He delivered a splendid performance by singing his famous songs as well as some of the lesser-known songs.
Another highlight of the fest was ‘The Next Gen Leader’ where selected participants from top B-Schools fought out the battle for the most promising leader. Under this competition, various skills of the participants were tested including marketing abilities, logical skills, articulation and leadership recognition abilities. Yogesh, a second-year XLRI student, bagged the mega prize of Rs. 1,00,000.

The Marketing Association of XLRI and Prometheus organised a flagship marketing event, i.e., ‘Circus Maximus’ where the participants tried to impress the judges by their wit and marketing skills.
On the other hand, ‘Model United Nations’ was also held for the second consecutive year where the delegates were given a chance to articulate their country’s stand within 90 seconds on the issue before the council.

The ‘Idea Summit’ was also held for three days where Nikhil Chandwani, a renowned filmmaker, author, Hollywood documentary and script writer was the speaker. He spoke about his experiences with crisis reporting, particularly Syrian crisis.
Yugal Chandra Bisht, Fest Convenor revealed that Ensemble 2016 witnessed a high number of participants as compared to last year.
