ANU Engineering College Celebrated Anniversary

The Engineering College of Acharya Nagarjuna University celebrated 7th Anniversary in a grand manner on 18-April-2016. The chief guest of the occasion was Acharya RV Rajkumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneshwar. The chief guest was welcomed by the University Vice-chancellor, Acharya Rajendra Prasad. Later VC presented the welcome address. He said, “The Engineering College of ANU has achieved a lot of mile stones. Students have come up with various projects which received recognition at the state and national level”.
Addressing the students, Chief Guest, Acharya RV RajKumar said, “Engineering students are the pillars of the nation. They must work hard for bringing new innovations and ideas in the development of technology. Students have to explore various employment opportunities. The students must come into a position of giving employment opportunities. Students must develop self-confidence, courage and research attitude to excel in a career. Patience also plays an important role. Students must go with patience to achieve success. Success may not come immediately. It may take time for which students have to wait patiently”.
Later prizes were distributed to the winners of various technical and literary activities which were conducted as a part of the anniversary. Prizes were also given to the outstanding students of the college. Cultural programs followed later and students performed Classical Dance and western dance and entertained the crowd. Senior and outgoing students of the college received a grand farewell from the junior students.
