AP-EAMCET 2017 Results to be Declared on May 5

Mr. Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Minister of Human Resource and Development, Andhra Pradesh has announced that the results of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (AP-EAMCET) 2017 will be declared on May 5, 2017. He made this announcement at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada while releasing the password for online AP-EAMCET 2017 examination.

AP-EAMCET 2017 examination commenced on April 24, 2017, and for the first time, the examination is being conducted in an online mode. The examination for engineering stream will continue until April 26, 2017. On the other hand, online AP-EAMCET 2017 for agriculture stream will take place on April 28, 2017. As per the latest announcement, April 27, 2017, is declared as a holiday.

Online AP-EAMCET 2017 examination is being conducted shift wise. On the first day, around 61,000 students appeared for the examination across 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. The examination as conducted in 141 centres and no issues were reported on the first day and the online examination turned out to be successful.

The examination is being conducted in two sessions or shifts, i.e. morning and afternoon. On the first day, a total number of 30,918 candidates took the test in the morning session and 30,173 candidates in the afternoon.

This year, 1,98,064 students registered for engineering stream and 80,735 candidates registered for agriculture stream. JNTU Kakinada has utilized around 40,000 computers in 141 test centres for conducting the online AP-EAMCET 2017 examination.

Among the cities, Vijayawada topped the list with regard to the number of candidates appeared for AP-EAMCET 2017 examination.

After taking the AP-EAMCET examination on the first day, students gave a mixed response. Avinash, one of the students expressed that the Mathematics paper was bit complicated and the rest were fine. Some students said that Physics was difficult.

One of the lecturers of a reputed college pointed that Computer Based Test (CBT) is easy for the candidates coming from city-based colleges. However, students from rural areas faced difficulty while taking the online examination.
