The certificate verification process of AP EAMCET has been concluded on 16-June-2016. The Andhra Pradesh EAMCET Engineering counselling has commenced on 6-June-2016. The first day of the counselling started with a problem with server but went on smoothly for the rest of the days. This year there has been considerable demand for ECE and CSE groups. Most of the students opted for these groups. The reason for this is the placement percentage for these groups are more.
Most of the students also opted for Mechanical engineering. This year there has been steep decline in the admissions of Chemical Engineering. Around 15% of the students have opted Chemical Engineering. The parents are giving more importance to the commercial courses like CSE and ECE as there are numerous employment opportunities and packages offered by most of the companies are attractive.
On the last day of the counselling, a total number of 355 students got their certificates verified. The web options process commenced on 16-June-2016 and will last till 18-June-2016. The classes for the 1st year engineering will commence from 27-June-2016. All the colleges have been already filled 70% of admissions and making necessary arrangements for the commencement of new academic year.
