AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 20th Aug 2021 Shift 1 Question Paper Analysis (Available), Answer Key

Day 2 & Shift 1 of AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2021 has been conducted on August 20 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. As there is no weightage for Intermediate marks in AP EAPCET 2021, the ranking system will be based on marks scored in the entrance exam. The question paper of AP EAMCET consists of 160 questions with 80 questions from Mathematics, 40 each from Physics and Chemistry. Deleted topics from Inter syllabus of these three subjects will be excluded from the question paper. The Shift 1 exam concluded at 12:00 PM. Here are some of the major highlights as per the primary feedback received from students -

• As per the first reaction, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate/ average (similar to the Day 1 exam)
• As per the first feedback, there were 1-2 questions from the deleted syllabus in the Mathematics section (Tangents)
• Mathematics was average in terms of difficulty level
• Physics was moderate to difficulty 
• Chemistry was moderately easy
• Almost 45+ questions in Mathematics were easily doable
• There were 15+ questions from the Calculus part in Mathematics, 12+ from Algebra and 15+ from Coordinate Geometry
• The physics section was balanced with almost full syllabus coverage
• From Physics, there were a good number of questions from Current Electricity, Magnetism, Semi-Conductors, Waves, Optics, Thermodynamics
• Polymers part in Chemistry had 2-3 questions
• There was decent weightage for Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry with almost 25+ questions
• Students also reported that the Mathematics was lengthy and time-consuming
• In all, it is a balanced paper with good syllabus coverage from all chapters/ topics
• The difficulty level of the exam is easier than TS EAMCET
