AP POLYCET 2022: As the exam is less than a werek away, scheduled fo May 29, it is time for the students to focus only on revisions. But carrying out revisions of the whole syllabus is as troublesome as it sounds. Moreover, some topics in the syllabus have very less to no weightage in AP POLYCET Exam as observed from the previous years’ question papers.

Based on it, we have provided below AP POLYCET Important Topics 2022, along with some last-minute important tips, to help students better their preparation. Continue reading for further information.

AP POLYCET 2022 Last-Minute Preparation Tips

Some of the useful tips have been provided below to help the candidates prepare for their upcoming examination. It shall however be noted that not all tips suit all students. Adapt what is best for you and proceed to improve your preparation and ultimately, your score.

1. Prepare as per the pattern

All three subjects have been given varied weightage: Maths – 50 Marks, Physics – 40 Marks, and Chemistry – 30 Marks. The detailed AP POLYCET Exam Pattern is given here.

Given this, candidates shall first focus on mathematics, then physics, and then chemistry. However, it does not mean that all topics of mathematics take preference. First cover the important topics from maths, followed by important topics from physics and chemistry respectively. Once it is done, then shift over to less important topics in the same order.

2. Revise, not Learn

With only a few days left, it would be useless to try and learn a topic now. If a topic is left, it is better to leave it behind. Learning one topic may take away the scarce revision time for three. So it is better to only revise and not begin learning at this stage.

3. Start with easy topics

For each subject, first pick up the topics which have a significant weightage and are easy for you. It will quicken the pace of your revision (as easy topics must not be left behind in revision) and it will also give you a much-needed confidence boost. Quickly finish these easy topics and then move to the more challenging topics.

4. Use Textbooks

Using AP Board textbooks is advisable for the preparation of AP POLYCET 2022. The question paper for the exam is based on the textbooks only.

5. Solve Previous Years’ Papers

Solving AP POLYCET Previous Years Papers will not only boost your knowledge about the kind of questions that come, it will also boost your speed. Try solving the papers within the stipulated time and the questions/topics which you feel are difficult can be worked on later.

6. Mark one-by-one

During the exam time, what many students tend to do is to try and solve the question paper completely in one go but for the last 10-15 minutes of the duration in which they intend to encircle all the questions on the OMR sheet. This approach is detrimental because if a candidate fails to darken all the answers within the time limit, even solving the complete question paper is as good as useless. Instead, directly darken the answers to the questions you are sure about, and those you are a bit unsure about can be left for later.

Also, remember to print your hall ticket at least a day before and keep your stationery ready for the exam day. You may find this helpful: AP POLYCET 2022 Documents Required on Exam Day.
