Admission Notice: Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University for M. Sc Physics

The Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University invites applications for admission to the M. Sc in Physics course for the academic session of 2016 onwards. Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University is located in Howrah, West Bengal with out-reach centres in Narendrapur (West Bengal), Ranchi (Jharkhand) & Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu). The University will conduct an entrance test for admission to M.Sc Physics across all its centres.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Physics Honours/Physics Major with minimum 60% marks
• Final year students can also apply
• Relaxation of 5% in marks will be given to ST/ SC applicants

Entrance Exam:

For getting admission in M. Sc course, the applicants need to appear for a entrance exam which will be organized at University campus.

Course Details:

M. Sc Physics is a two year Masters Programme having 4 semesters, each semester is of 20 weeks. It has both Theory & Practical subjects in its curriculum. The students need to pass in both subjects to clear a particular semester.

Along with the applcation form the applicants need to send a demand draft of Rs. 300 wich will the application fees. The DD will be in the favour of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, Belur Math Howrah.
