Apply for National Overseas Scholarship Passage/ Grant 2017 Now!
With an objective to encourage women to apply for the grant, 30% of awards are earmarked for women candidates.
The students who are interested in taking up Master’s or Ph.D. course abroad can apply for National Overseas Scholarship Passage/ Grant 2017. Through this scholarship, the applicants and selected students will be covered for tuition fee and other educational expenses which include allowance, contingency, travel expenses and maintenance. The scholarship is applicable to only those students who wish to take up Masters or P.hD. in specified field abroad.

The following number of seats will be allocated in the specific fields mentioned below: -

Eligibility: -
- Students who belong to the above-mentioned categories with 55% of marks in Master’s or Bachelor’s degree can apply for the scholarship.
- The applicants must note that the family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 6 lakh per annum.
- The upper age limit to apply for the scholarship is 35 years.
Application Process: -
- The eligible candidates need to fill the application form in the prescribed format.
- All the filled-in applications must reach the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment by post.

- Poll Tax
- Tuition Fee
- Annual Maintenance Allowance of USD 15400

- The applications must reach Department of Social Justice and Empowerment on or before March 31, 2017.
