APPSC to Implement Digital Measures for Group 1 Services Exam 2019
The Group-1 Services exam will be conducted by APPSCin the month of February 2020. For this year’s examination, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has decided to implement some digital measures in the examination to make it more seamless.
Every year, the Group 1 Services Exam is conducted by Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. Similarly, for 2019, the Group-1 Services exam will be conducted in the month of February 2020. For this year’s examination, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has decided to implement some digital measures in the examination to make it more seamless.
In the context of this digitalisation of Group 1 Services Exam 2019, the students will be provided with a tablet instead of paper-based question papers to attempt the examination. On important thing to note is that the tablets provided will only be used for displaying the question paper. However, the students will have to write the answers on the answer sheet as provided by the examiners.
Given below are the guidelines which the students have to follow to access the Group 1 Sevices Examination 2019 question paper on the tablet:
- The students will first have to switch on the tab by pressing the switch on button.
- After switching on the tab, the student will have to click on the ‘exam icon’ which is present on the homepage.
- The student will have to click on the start exam link and enter the respective subject name for which they want to access the question paper.
- The students will further have to enter the subject password to finally access the question paper, which will be provided to them by the exam invigilator.
- The question paper will now be displayed on the screen. Students can also use the Zoom feature to enlarge the question paper.
- Finally, after the exam is finished, a message will be displayed as ‘your exam time is finished’. When prompted, click on ‘OK’.

For the seamless process, the exam invigilators will also be present to help the students in case they feel hesitant to use the tablet.
