APPSC Group 1 Sample OMR Sheet 2022: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has scheduled the Preliminary examination (screening test) for Group 1 stage on January 8, 2023. The paper featuring a total of 120 objective-type questions (MCQ) will be conducted offline. In this regard, the Commission has released specimen copies of the OMR Answer Sheet PDF, question paper booklets, and instructions to fill out the sheets on its website – psc.ap.gov.in. APPSC Group 1 Sample OMR Sheet 2022 – Instructions to Follow

The APPSC Group 1 OMR Sheet is handed out to all candidates appearing for the Prelims exam. Candidates are to mark the correct answer on the sheet itself. However, there are certain rules to follow while marking or filling out the OMR Sheet.

Here are the important instructions mentioned on the APPSC website for marking the response sheet:

All the fields on the OMR sheet, such as the Registration No., Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Category, Exam Name/Code, Venue Code/Address must be filled in black/blue ballpoint pen only.
Candidates must encode or mark the Test Booklet Series (A/B/C/D), Paper Code, Name of the Venue, and signature in the designated space on the sheet.
Examinees must immediately report to the invigilator and get the OMR Answer Sheet/Test Booklet replaced if the Booklet Series or the Answer Sheet No. is not mentioned.
Candidates are to obtain the invigilator’s signature in the space provided. Without it, the answer sheet will be considered invalid.
Soon after the exam commences, candidates must check if the Test Booklet has any missing/torn/unprinted pages. In such a case, they must get the whole booklet replaced with another of the same subject code and series.
On the response sheet, candidates must not write down any information other than what is required in the space provided for rough work. They must note that writing at the back of the answer sheet will not be accepted.
Candidates must be careful not to fold/tear/tamper with the answer sheet in any way.
Examinees must note that the OMR sheet will be evaluated by a computer. Therefore, they must be extra cautious while marking the response sheet. The answers, once marked, cannot be erased, so it is important that candidates double-check the answers before marking them.
Candidates will be provided with four choices, of which they are to mark only one option (the correct choice) against the appropriate series no. on the response sheet.
While marking the correct answer, candidates must ensure to completely darken the circle against the right answer (a/b/c/d) using a black/blue ballpoint pen. They must not tick off (✓) or cross (X) the choices.
