Andhra Pradesh Government decides to remove the personal interview from the APPSC staff recruitment, in order to limit the selection process. APPSC Selection Process is most likely to be constrained only to the written exams in the coming years.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Cheif Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced no personal interviews for the APPSC staff recruitment to limit the selection process. This historic decision indicated that, from now on, only written exams will be considered in the staff recruitment process for Andhra Pradesh State. The decision took place on 17th October 2019 in a review meeting of APPSC which held to look upon the possible ways to conduct the staff recruitment exams at the CM residence Guntur District.
APPSC Exam is conducted for the post of Gazetted officers or Group 1 officers. According to the pattern, the final merit will be made on the basis of written exams only as the personal Interview part has been cancelled by the authorities. Based on the merit list, seats will be allocated to the candidates.
CM also asked APPSC officials to release notifications for the recruitment examinations along with the follow-up calendar in the month of January, every year. This would give students an idea of the examination events for the whole year in a single go.

CM is going to hold another round of review meetings in the month of November regarding the number of vacancies to be mentioned in January 2020.
