APSSDC to Provide Soft Skills Training for 2.5 Lakh Students
The APSSDC trained 90,000 students in the past 14 months.
The Andhra Pradesh State Skills Development Corporation (APSSDC) has taken the initiative to provide soft skills training for 2.5 Lakh students across Andhra Pradesh. Andhra University has come forward to support the initiative of APSSDC. Under this initiative, the candidates who are pursuing or completed UG will be trained in various soft skills. This initiative has been taken to increase the employment rate.

The APSSDC trained 90,000 students in the past 14 months. Out of them, 34,000 students got placed in reputed companies like TCS and Wipro. It conducts mega job fairs at various districts of Andhra Pradesh once in a month. Previously, the APSSDC had collaborated with Krishna University and trained the UG students of Krishna district.

The candidates who seek training under this programme will have maximum chances of getting placed in any of the reputed multinational companies. Around 15 companies will conduct recruitment after the training session. The students will be trained for 40 days. Resource persons from Andhra University will take the charge of training the students.
