Smt.Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture, Seminary Hills, Nagpur celebrated its three days festival 'The Archiventure'
The first day was all about remembering those childhood days. For the sports events, students were divided into four groups-Trojans, Gladiators, Wolverines, Avengers.
The second day started with various short “on the spot competitions” like stone art, wall painting, flag designing, sketching, calligraphy and a surprise game. About 350 students participated enthusiastically in these competitions. The races included the delicious Cham- Cham race, eat now enjoy the later race, reverse race, walking race, squat race and three-legged race.
Along with students teachers too participated enthusiastically. Cricket, Basket Ball, Lagori etc. redoubled the excitement of students and teachers alike. Participation of blind students was another landmark of the event. Finally in the evening, there was a farewell to final year students.
The last day of Archiventure was an energy packed cultural night. Cultural activities were based on current social issues.
Participants of the events lightened the atmosphere by their rock band competition. It was followed by the brilliant performance of solo and group dance performances. Teachers and non- teaching staff too danced and enjoyed to the full.
On the occasion, a fashion show was also organized. The themes were Egyptian, Recycling products, Plastic waste products, Utensils and students proved their par excellence creativity through their show. The show was adjudged by Vice Principal of L.A.D. Dr.Zaria and Dr.Nandita Sapra.
Archiventure was a perfectly balanced blend of talent, creativity, fun and lots of enjoyment. Prof.Atula Patwardhan teacher in charge of Archiventure 2016, Ms.Aksa Kundur President of the student council and her team, worked hard to make the event successful.
