As per the official State Common Entrance Test Cell schedule, MHT CET seat allotment 2024 CAP Round 1 results are available on August 14, 2024. After seat allotment results, candidates can only exercise the ‘Betterment’ option as option preferences can be edited after each round. Float and Slide options for online reporting after seat allotment have been cancelled by the CET Cell. All preferences as per the option form will be considered for engineering admissions for the academic year 2024-2025.

Here are the major instructions to go through regarding the same:The Float and Slide options have been removed since the candidates have been given the facility to exercise new options after each round of allotment.
This allows the candidates to only keep the institutes and branches they want within their preference list, whether it is from one institute or many.
Instead of Float and Slide, only one option called 'Betterment' is provided now for participating in the next round of allocations.
The Betterment option will be available until Round 2 while all seats will be auto-freezed in Round 3.
If a candidate wants a branch change in the same institute as they are currently allotted a seat in, then they shall only add preferences for the branches they want at their allotted institute. Options for no other institute shall be added in such cases. It would act as the Slide option.
If a candidate wants branch as well as institute change, then they shall exercise options accordingly. It would act as the Float option.

Candidates can select options after MHT CET Seat Allotment 2024 by navigating the official website- fe2024.mahacet.org. If a candidate has been assigned their first preference seat in MHT CET seat allotment 2024 Round I (auto-freeze), they are required to pay the seat acceptance fee online through their login. It is important to note that candidates who have been auto-freeze in Round I will not be able to participate in any subsequent rounds of the MHT CET 2024 counselling process. If candidates received a seat in the initial round of allocation that was not their top choice and decided to freeze their allotment, they must complete the acceptance process by paying the fees online. It's important to note that they won't be able to participate in any subsequent rounds of seat allocation.
Furthermore, if candidates received a seat in the first round that wasn't their preferred choice and wish to explore better options in the following rounds, they must secure their allocated seat in Round I by accepting it and selecting the "Not Freeze" option. Additionally, they should complete the acceptance process by paying the fees online. The MHT CET seat allotment method 2024 will be used to assign seats to candidates among participating colleges located in the six areas of Maharashtra, which are Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amravati, and Nasik.
