Axis Bank Partners with Banaras Hindu University to Offer Banking Course
Through this strategic partnership, Axis Bank and BHU will offer courses like Master of Financial Management (MFM), Master of Foreign Trade (MFT) and Masters in Commerce (M.Com).
Axis Bank and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) have entered into a pact to offer a specialised certificate course in the banking sector. The bank will develop the curriculum, e-learning modules and course design with the help of Faculty of Commerce of BHU for its M.Com and MBA students. The course will focus on preparing the students academically and vocationally for the corporate world.

The bank will conduct lectures on banking insurance and other related topics with the help of domain experts and faculty before the end of each semester. At the end of 2nd semester, the bank will provide an internship opportunity of six weeks at any branch of Axis Bank to the students. The primary objective of providing an internship will be to make the students acquainted with the working structure and style in the bank.

The programme will be launched initially for the candidates of the 2015-16 academic batch. The course will offer a right blend of classroom and on-the-job training. The programme will also focus on technical skill-sets required in the banking sector.
