Bapatla Agriculture College Celebrates 71st Anniversary

The Bapatla Agriculture College celebrated 71^st Anniversary in a grand manner at Dr. BV Nadh Auditorium in college on 11-May-2016. The celebrations commenced at 5.00 PM. The chief guest of the occasion was Collector of Guntur District, Mr. Kranthilal Dande. He was the old student of the college. The celebrations were inaugurated by lightening the lamp by the chief guest and college dean, Tatineni Ramesh Babu.

Addressing the students the chief guest spoke that, “I feel proud to come as chief guest for the college where I have studied. I feel elated to meet all my lecturers. The college has got recognition not only in national level but also international level. The college has innovated various ideas and techniques in irrigation and created a new wave. The college motivates its students to participate in various research activities related to Agriculture and irrigation. It is good to see a lot of girl students who are pursuing Agriculture B.Sc”. The college management felicitated the chief guest.

The meritorious and outstanding students were awarded with medals by the college management. The medals were given by the chief guest. Students organized Agricultural expo at the college premises on this occasion. Students displayed various tools which are used for cultivation. Various classical dances were performed.
