Certificate of Practice Issued by the BCI to AIBE XII and XIII Qualified Candidates
The Bar Council of India (BCI) issues Certificate of Practice to the candidates who qualified AIBE XII and XIII. The COP for these candidates is now available at the State Bar Councils as issued by the BCI.
The Bar Council of India (BCI) has recently issued the Certificate of Practice (COP) to all the qualified candidates for AIBE (All India Bar Examination) XII and XIII exam. The candidates who appeared for the 12th and 13th exam of AIBE need to contact the state bar council they are enrolled with in order to obtain their COP. There has been no revelation of any information regarding the Certificate of Practice for the candidates who have qualified AIBE XIV and no details about it are available as yet.
The official notification that was released by the AIBE Department stated that it was for informing all the candidates who have cleared law entrance exam of AIBE XII and AIBE XIII that they have to contact their respective State Bar Council to get their Certificate of Practice (COP) as they have already been dispatched by the A.I.B.E Department. The department will soon notify the candidates who have qualified AIBE XIV regarding their COP.

The application process of AIBE XV is underway at present and it will go on till August 31, 2020. All the candidates who failed to qualify any of the previous sessions of AIBE have the opportunity of applying and appearing for the 15th session of AIBE now. The BCI has mandated qualifying AIBE for all those who have graduated with a law degree from the year 2010 onwards. Only the AIBE qualified candidates are issued Certificate of Practice to practice law as a profession.
All the law aspirants who are not able to qualify the All India Bar Examination are considered on provisional enrollment if they are practising law. However, they are prohibited to practice law and participate in other events at courts.
