BHU Opens Application Correction Window for UET 2020 and PET 2020
Banaras Hindu University has opened the application correction window for BHU UET 2020 and BHU PET 2020. Applicants can edit their forms before the deadline for the same ends.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has opened the application correction window for its Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) as well as the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) for the academic session of 2020 - 2021. The university has enabled the option of changing the preferences of exam centre for BHU UET 2020 and BHU PET 2020. The applicants can now select their most preferred test centres for the exam from the five cities that they have earlier selected as their BHU UET and PET test centres.
The last date to make changes in the exam centre preferences of BHU UET and PET 2020 is June 20, 2020. The candidates will not be required to pay any extra fee to make the alterations. The exam dates of BHU UET 2020 and BHU PET 2020 have not been announced by the central university yet. The entrance exams were postponed because of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country and the nationwide lockdown that was enforced for containing the spread of the virus. The dates of exams will be finalised after the lockdown is lifted and the Government of India releases any notification regarding the topic.

The official notification that was released by the Banaras Hindu University stated that the online application process for BHU admissions 2020 to the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes under has already ended in the month of March 2020. Students looking forward to appearing for UET or PET 2020 for getting admission to the university for the academic cycle of 2020 - 2021 can edit their application forms now. It is to be noted that only the candidates who have applied for the exams can avail the option of editing it.
While submitting the BHU online application form, all the applicants had given a choice of five cities as their test centres, in order of their preference. BHU has taken the step to allot the candidate his/ her most preferred test city or any other test centre that is in the radius of 200 kilometres. However, there can be a possibility that certain applicants who had earlier opted for a particular test centre as choice 1, have now moved away from the same city during the lockdown and it might not be convenient for them to appear for the entrance test at the city that they originally preferred. Hence, the university has given students the option to change their test centres and cities.
