To avoid unfair means such as copying or talking during the exam, BSEB has employed the use of CCTV cameras to monitor the examination hall for the upcoming board exams of Class 10 and 12. Read below to know all the essential details.
For the Bihar Board Examination to be held in February 2022, in order to avoid malpractices such as copying and discussing during the exam, the Bihar Board of School Education (BSEB) introduced CCTV monitoring at the examination centres. In order to carry this out, about 11,768 CCTV cameras are undergoing installation at 1471 exam centres throughout the state.
Apart from this, students would also be checked before entering the examination centre. This check will also involve checking the students’ socks and shoes. Earlier, to avoid any unfair practices, BSEB had prohibited wearing socks and shoes altogether but considering the winter conditions in the state of Bihar, that allowance has now been made.
