Bihar Board to Take Stringent Measures to Prevent Cheating in Class 10 Exams
- Bihar Class 10 Board Exams 2018 will begin from February 21, 2018.
- CCTV cameras have been installed in all the exam centres across the state.
Bihar Board is all set to begin the board exams for Class 10 students from February 21, 2018. The board has already been successful in conducting Class 12 board exams. Over 1,000 students were expelled for indulging in mass cheating this year. The board is going to take tough measures to prevent malpractices and cheating in Class 10 board exams 2018. This year, over 17.70 lakh students are going to appear for board exams in 1,426 centres across the state.
The Bihar Board informed that Class 10 students wearing shoes and socks will not be allowed into the examination hall. Students can wear slippers and enter the examination hall. The board has issued strict orders to District Education Officers (DEOs) to follow the instructions strictly. The board exams for Class 10 students will conclude on February 28, 2018.

Patna has the maximum number of exam centres. Over 82,500 students are appearing for the exams in 74 centres across the district.
Already, the board has installed CCTV cameras in all the exam centres to prevent mass copying and mass cheating. This year, the board is facing pressure to conduct exams in fair manner.

Despite the sincere efforts of the board, many issues related to mass cheating registered in the recently concluded Class 12 board exams. Last week, the board had expelled 25 fake examiners. An FIR was filed against the guardians of the children who tried to pass cheat slips to the students.
