Bihar Class 10 Board Exams to Begin from February 21, 2018
- The board exams for Class 10 students in Bihar will take place from February 21 to February 28, 2018.
- Practical exams will be conducted at least one month before the theory exams.
BSBE (Bihar School Examination Board) will conduct board exams for Class 10 students from February 21 to February 28, 2018. BSEB has revised some guidelines for practical exams. According to the revised guidelines, district magistrate will allocate examination centres to Class 10 students for the practical exam to regulate malpractices. Mr. Anand Kishore – Chairperson of BSEB has given clarification regarding the dates of Class 10 board exams and practical exams. Similarly, the pre-board exams for Class 10 students will begin on November 27, 2017, and the exams will conclude on December 5, 2017.

The practical exams will be conducted before the theory papers. According to information disclosed by Mr. Anand Kumar, the practical exams for Class 10 students will commence on January 22, 2018, and the same will conclude on January 24, 2018. Usually, practical exams will be conducted for the optional papers including Lalit Art, Dance, Music, Home Science and others.

Teachers from the respective exam centres will carry out their responsibilities as external examiners, and specific subject teachers from different schools across the state will carry out their responsibilities as internal examiners.
BSEB further directed all the schools to send the award or marks sheets of internal assessment of project work and science subjects on or before January 26, 2018. Giving clarity on pre-board exams, BSEB mandated all the Class 10 students to appear for pre-board exams. Absentees to the 10th Class pre-board exams will not be allowed to write 10th Class board exams that will take place in February 2018.
