Bird Academy Becomes IATA's Regional Training Partner
IATA has collaborated with the Bird Group as their official Regional Training Partner to offer international aviation courses. The move is expected to produce skilled professionals well suited for the aviation, travel and tourism industry. Learn more below.
Bird Academy, the educational vertical of the Bird Group is soon going to offer International Aviation Certificates to the trainees who enroll with them. It will become the first institute in India to offer such certificates and has collaborated with IATA - International Air Transport Association to become their Regional Training Partner.
According to reports, Bird academy will be hosting the IATA training that will mainly cover all the different aspects of the aviation industry. The training sessions will be conducted mostly in Delhi on topics and themes such as:
- Passenger Assessment and Travel Document Checks
- Document Control Systems
- Safety Management Systems (SMS) for Airlines
- Passenger Fares and Ticketing
The Chairperson of Bird Group, Mr. Radha Bhatia said that the company is delighted to collaborate with IATA as its Regional Training Partners which will help build a pool of talented and trained professionals that are imperative for an industry's overall success. The partnership will also help them offer courses which were previously unavailable.

Bird Academy also offers skill development courses in order to ensure that they are able to achieve the required skill-set and qualification to emerge successful in the aviation, travel and tourism sector.

IATA has collaborated with India, becoming the third country in Asia after Malaysia and Sri Lanka. IATA is a trade association of the world's airlines and represents more than 290 airlines equivalent to almost 82% of the total air traffic.
