BITS Pilani Increases Intake of M.E. and M.Pharma Courses
BITS Pilani has increased the intake of M.E and M.Pharma courses by 55%. The admission to these courses is based on GATE/ GPAT/ BITS HE Online entrance test score.
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) has increased the intake of Master of Engineering (M.E) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) courses from this academic session 2018-19. The hike in the number of seats in M.E and M.Pharma courses is applicable to all the three campuses of BITS, i.e., BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad. The total hike in the number of seats is about 55%.
Candidates who wish to take admission in M.E/ M.Pharma courses at any of the campuses of BITS must note that GATE (M.E)/ GPAT (M.Pharma) score is mandatory. Candidates who do not have a valid GATE/ GPAT score must clear BITS HD Online Test, an entrance test for M.E and M.Pharma courses conducted by BITS.

Candidates who secure admission in higher degree courses like M.E/ M.Pharma at BITS will get a teaching assistantship/ or tuition fee waiver of Rs. 13,400 per month. Students aspiring to grab the teaching assistantship/ tuition fee waiver must note that they need to contribute about 8 to 12 hours per week assisting in laboratories, teaching, etc as assigned by the respective departments.

The admission process for M.E and M.Pharma course for the academic session 2018-19 has been concluded. The iteration programme/ orientation programme for fresh students took place on July 30 & July 31, 2018. If any seats are vacant due to the non-reporting of the candidates or non-payment of the fee, candidates in the next order of merit will have chances to get admission.
