BITSAT 2022 Syllabus Weightage for Chemistry in a topic-wise format has been provided below in this article. Out of the total 130 questions, Chemistry carries 30 questions. In all, BITSAT 2022 Chemistry Syllabus has 14 chapters in total, the details of which are mentioned below.
BITSAT Exam is conducted for aspirants seeking admission in the Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani or more popularly known as BITS Pilani. BITSAT exam is carried out for 390 marks wherein each correct answer awards 3 marks while a penalty of -1 mark is present for an incorrect answer. The exam is subdivided into four parts: Physics, Chemistry, English & Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology. Each section has a varied weightage. For Chemistry, it is 30 questions/90 marks.

Students are advised to begin with topics such as chemical bonding, atomic structure, carboxylic acid and its derivatives, p-block elements, mole concepts, organic chemistry, and so on with a decreasing weightage. These topics typically have more weightage and are asked multiple times while subjects like surface chemistry, redox reactions, polymers, etc. shall be practised only after the rest of the syllabus has been completed.
