SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION (SOPE)
School of Physical Education (SOPE), DAVV, Indore is a pioneer institute in central India serving the cause of the profession over 19 years. Under the scheme of University Grant Commission, Delhi, it was established in the year 1990 and runs under the faculty of Physical Education of DAVV Indore. The course offered that time was B.Sc. in Physical Education, Health Education and sports. The course was renamed as B.P.E. (Bachelor in Physical Education) in the year 1994-95 and the first batch of B.P.E. passed in the year 1997.
The School of Physical Education started the post graduation course, M.P.Ed. (Master of Physical Education) in the year 1993-94 on self-finance basis and the first batch of M.P.Ed. had completed their course in the year 1995. The nomenclature of the course was changed to M.P.E. as per U.G.C. guideline in 2000-2001.
The School of Physical Education has successfully pursued academic excellence & quality leadership to prepare teachers in the field of Physical department has produced more than 45 NET and 6 JRF qualified students. Today the department is also successfully running Ph.D programmes. About 20 Ph.D. have been produced by this university under the faculty of Physical Education guided by the faculty of SOPE. The department has dedicated and well qualified faculty including four Professors, one Senior Lecturer and two Lecturers.

(b) 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm - Game Test

(a) 05.00 pm - Declaration of Result
Tuesday 05th July 2016 - Last date for submitting the fee for first merit list candidates
Monday 11th July 2016
a) 12.00 noon - Assembly and Inauguration of Course.
Note :-
1. All written and practical test will be conducted at School of Physical Education, Devi
Ahilya University, Takshashila Campus, Khandwa Road, Indore.
2. Candidates have to attend the practical test in proper sports kit.
3 Waiting list candidates will contact the office on Thursday 07th July 2016 at 10.30 am for confirmation of admission and submission of fee.
