BSEB Changes Exam Pattern Midway Through Intermediate Board Exams 2018
- The BSEB has changed the question paper will consist of 50% objective questions and the students will be provided with an OMR sheet to answer these objective questions.
The Bihar School Examination Board changed the exam pattern for candidates appearing for the intermediate board exams few days after the exams began. It is from this year candidates will have objective type questions in their theoretical examination. The question paper will consist of 50% objective questions and the students will be given an OMR sheet to answer these objective questions. BSEB intermediate board exams started on 6 February 2018 and the board changed the norms mid-way.:

At the start of the intermediate board exams, students had an option to do the objective type questions as per their convenience during the 3 hours of exam time. The OMR sheets for the same were distributed at the beginning of the exam and were collected at the end.
However, with the new notice published by BSEB on its official website, the board stated that the students would have to attempt the objective type questions in the first one hour of the exam time. The OMR sheet will be collected from the candidates at 11:15 am by the faculty in the first session of the exam and at 3:15 pm in the second session.

The exam for music theory will take place on 12 February, 2018 and the science and commerce exam will take place on 14 February 2018. For the exam that took place on Febryary 9, 2018, it was instructed that OMR sheets will be collected at 11: 15 am.
