BSEB STET Eligibility 2023: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the recruitment notification for Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) 2023 on its official website – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. The examination will be conducted to shortlist eligible candidates for various teaching positions (Classes I-V and VI-VIII) in the schools of Bihar. Those who wish to apply can check out BSEB STET Eligibility 2023 before registering online through the portal. The Bihar STET Application Process 2023 will commence on February 1 and continue till February 14.
BSEB STET Eligibility 2023 – Educational Qualification
Aspirants must go through Bihar STET 2023 Eligibility Criteria before filling out the application form as the required academic qualification typically varies for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Here is a detailed look at the educational qualification and age limit under the BSES STET Eligibility 2023:
Educational Qualification – Primary Level (Classes I-V)
Candidates must have passed or appeared in the last year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education and HSC with a minimum of 50% marks.
OR
Candidates must have qualified HSC and passed or appeared in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education with a minimum of 45% marks in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Applicants must have passed HSC/10+2 and qualified or appeared in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) with a minimum of 50% marks.
OR
Applicants must have qualified MHSC (or equivalent) and passed or appeared in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) with a minimum of 50% marks and qualified in BETET or CTET examination.
Educational Qualification – Elementary Level (Classes VI-VIII)
Candidates must have a B.A./B.Sc. degree and they must have passed or appeared in the last year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education course.
OR
Applicants must graduates with a minimum of 50% marks and they must have qualified or appeared for a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
OR
Candidates must be graduates with a minimum of 45% marks and they must have passed or appeared in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) by the NCTE Regulations.
OR
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and they must have also passed or appeared in the last year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).
OR
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and they must have also passed or appeared in the final year of a 4- year B.A./B. Sc. Ed. or B.A. Ed./B. Sc. Ed.
OR
Applicants must be graduates with a minimum of 50% marks and they must have passed or appeared in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
BSEB STET Eligibility 2023 – Age Limit
As per BSEB STET Eligibility 2023, the age limit of candidates varies for different categories. While the minimum age requirement for Paper 1 aspirants is 18 years, that for Paper 2 candidates is 21 years. Here is a look at the upper age limit before applying online:
