BSNL to Conduct Crash Course in Chennai for GATE 2017
The first four batches will start on November 16, 23, 30 and December 7, 2016. The candidates who are interested in joining the crash course for GATE 2017 have to pay Rs. 30,000 as course fee.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will conduct a crash course in Chennai for Graduate Management Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017. The coaching will take place at BSNL’s training division, Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Telecom Training Centre in Meenambakkam.
The first four batches will start on November 16, 23, 30 and December 7, 2016. The candidates who are interested in joining the crash course for GATE 2017 have to pay Rs. 30,000 as course fee. Separate hostel and mess facility will be provided to both male and female candidates.

The coaching will be conducted in the following streams of engineering:-
- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

BSNL is going to recruit 2,500 JTOs through GATE 2017. The government is expected to release the notification for more than 10,000 jobs in public sector units like Power Grid, BHEL, GAIL, SAIL, NTPC, ONGC. The syllabus of GATE is also helpful to write central government exams for recruitments to ISRO, IES and DRDO.

This year, GATE 2017 exam is being conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. The test will take place on 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th February 2017. There will be some changes in the GATE 2017 examination pattern. The changes are made to make the exam more dependable and subjective. On the other hand, GATE 2017 will also be conducted in Ethiopia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nepal, Srilanka, Bangladesh and Singapore.
