Calcutta University Begins Application Process for B.Tech/ M.Sc Courses 2017
- College of Science & Technology has commenced the application process for B.Tech, M.Sc & M.Sc (Agriculture) courses for the academic session 2017-18.
- The candidates who completed UG course at Calcutta University need not appear for the entrance examination.
Calcutta University’s College of Science & Technology has commenced the application process for B.Tech, M.Sc & M.Sc (Agriculture) courses for the academic session 2017-18. Faculty of Science, Technology, Home Sciences and Agriculture offer these courses. Students who wish to apply need to visit the official website of Calcutta University. Candidates can opt for multiple courses. These candidates must mention the order of preference carefully. The candidates will not get a chance to change the order of preference once the application form is submitted. The seat allotment will be based on preferences opted by the candidates.

The candidates who completed UG course at Calcutta University need not appear for the entrance examination. These candidates are eligible for direct admission based on percentage in qualifying examinations. Others must appear for an entrance examination.

- University College of Science and Technology, Calcutta University is the official website for filling and submitting the online applications.
- The online application link is not available on the official website of Calcutta University.
- There is a separate portal for University College of Science and Technology, Calcutta University.
- After visiting the official website, check for the tab indicating ‘Admission Notice’.
- Under that, check for ‘M.Sc/ B.Tech Admissions 2017’.
- Now, a new page opens.
- Towards the right-hand side of the page, click on ‘New Registration’.
- Enter the necessary details.
- Generate login credentials.
- Complete the application process.
- Pay the application fee through SBI Collect.
- Do not forget to take the printout of application form and e-receipt.
- After completing the application process, submit the application form with all the necessary documents (applicable only for CU students).
