Calcutta University UG First Merit List 2023 Releasing Today: Steps to download
Calcutta University's first merit list for UG courses will be released today, tentatively by afternoon, since the authority has not yet confirmed the official time of publishing it. The selected candidates should complete the admission after that on or by July 31, 2023.
The Department of Higher Education, West Bengal is all set to release the UG first merit list 2023 today in the online mode. The authority will issue the first merit list for all the streams (BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, and BCA) separately. Based on the obtainable marks in class 12, the authority will release the first merit list for the UG courses. As per the schedule, the candidates, whose names will be displayed on the merit list, should complete the admission at the UG programs by July 31, 2023. If the candidates fail to complete the admission by the scheduled date, then the seat allotted to the candidates will be cancelled automatically. Post that, the first semester classes of UG programs will be started on August 1, 2023.
During the admission process, the candidates should pay the course-wise admission fees to the authority. Note, that the admission fees vary from one course to another. Along with the admission fees, the candidates should carry a list of original documents to complete the admission successfully.

The authority will release the subject-wise UG merit list on the official website. The candidates can refer to the following steps to download the Calcutta Univerity UG first merit list 2023-
- Go to the official website- caluniv.ac.in
- Click the “Calcutta University merit list” link on the home page
- After opening the merit list pdf, the candidates should search their names using ctrl+f
- Once the candidates find their names, download the pdf and take a printout of it for future reference
