A career counselling program would be conducted by the Gitam University in association with a leading media house at St. Michael’s Girls Higher Secondary School at West Hill in Kozhikode on January 20. The program would commence at 1.30 pm.
The aim of the event is to create awareness among the intermediate students of professional and general higher education courses, selection of engineering branches as well as selection of institutes.
The conference would also have experts apprising the students about how to choose the best engineering, pharmacy or architecture colleges.
The conference would also feature expert lectures on science programmes, opportunities, research and national-level tests, etc. The management education, particularly at the undergraduate level would also be covered. Opportunities for the postgraduate management students or budding managers would also be discussed.
The conference would have the experts providing a brief information on the standards of higher education vis-à-vis the functional role of statutory agencies such as the All India Council for Technical Education, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Nursing Council of India, National Council for Teacher Education and Distance Education Council.
