The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta conducted the CAT 2011 exam for aspirants looking to get into IIMs and other reputed self-financing B-Schools of India. The CAT 2011 exam was conducted between 22nd October and 18th November in online mode and our CAT exam experts have prepared a detailed analysis of the question paper basis the reaction of the candidates and other external experts.   • A total of 60 questions were asked in this year’s CAT paper.

  • The maximum time allocated for answering all the questions was 2 hours and 40 minutes.

  • The questions were accompanied by 4 possible responses or options.

  • Each question carried 3 marks.

  • For every wrong response, 1 mark will be deducted.

  • The candidates were not allowed to skip to the second section of the paper before the completion of the 70-minute mark.
