CAT 2012: CAT 2012 was conducted from October 11 to November 6, 2012. The exam was conducted in computer-based test mode (CBT). There were 2 sections in the exam: Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, and Logical Reasoning.
The CAT 2012 exam was a paper-based test with a total of 60 questions. Each of the two sections in the question paper had 30 questions each. Candidates were given 70 minutes to solve each section of the exam with the total exam duration being 140 minutes.
As per the feedback received by the students, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation was the toughest section of the exam. There were very complex and time taking calculations in the Data Interpretation section. While the Logical Reasoning section was easy which brought some relief to the candidates.
