Candidates will be able to apply for various MBA colleges in the country on the basis of their CAT 2016 score. CAT is the most widely taken MBA entrance exam and is accepted by most of the top business schools in India including the prestigious IIMs.

Candidates can also check the expected cutoffs and scores accepted by colleges in order to shortlist good colleges for which they are eligible to apply.
Steps to Check CAT Results 2016:
- Go to the official exam website of CAT 2016
- Enter the CAT roll number provided in the admit card
- Click on the tab ‘CAT 2016 Results’
- Your score card will appear on the screen
- Save the score card and take a printout for later use
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a yearly exam that is conducted by either of the old IIMs each year. CAT score plays an elemental role in admission to the top MBA colleges, however, a candidate is also tested on the basis of his past academic performance, work experience and performance in GD PI round.

CAT 2016 was conducted by IIM Bangalore on December 4, 2016 for MBA aspirants across India. CAT is not the only exam basis which for MBA aspirants across India. CAT is not the only exam basis which admissions to MBA colleges is done.
There are various other exams that a student can take to get admission in top Indian business schools. Other MBA entrance exams include XAT, NMAT, SNAP, CMAT, IBSAT, MAT and ATMA.
