CAT 2016 Toppers: Yash Choudhari, Avidipto Chakraborty Score 100 Percentile

With the announcement of CAT 2016 results, a lot has been put into perspective for the candidates who appeared for the exam. The result was announced on January 9, 2017. CAT being one of the most difficult and most important MBA entrance exams, the next big question was – who emerged as the topper for the exam?

So far, names of two students have come forth, both of whom have scored a 100 percentile. Kolhapur’s Yash Choudhari and Kolkata’s Avidipto Chakraborty have scored 100 percentile in CAT 2016.

Yash Choudhari is currently pursuing B.Tech (final year) from College of Engineering, Pune. This was Yash’s first attempt at CAT. With a perfect 100 percentile, Yash is expecting to get calls from top MBA Colleges. Here’s his section-wise CAT cutoff:

  • Verbal Ability: 99.9
  • Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning: 99.86
  • Quantitative Ability: 99.96

The other topper, Avidipto talked about his success and said that with four months of preparation and close to 83 mock tests, he has been able to ace the examination.

Now that CAT is over and the results have been declared, it’s celebration time for students who got paid for their hard work. Although the complete statistics have not been announced yet, the results have come in at the right time to encourage students for their preparation of GD and PI Rounds.
