CAT 2022 Application Form to be Released on August 3: Documents to Keep Ready

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Bangalore) will release the official notification for CAT 2022 exam on July 31, 2022. After that, the CAT 2022 application form fill-up process will be started on August 3, 2022, in online mode. To apply for the CAT 2022 exam, the candidates should visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in. While filling the application form of CAT 2022, the candidates should fill out their preferable IIMs and interview cities. The candidates will get six options from a list of 158 cities. Nonetheless, the final allotment will be done as per the availability of seats at the exam centre. As per the latest announcement, the authorities have decided the CAT 2022 exam date as November 27, 2022.

Documents Required to Fill CAT 2022 Application Form

Before starting to fill the CAT 2022 application form, the candidates should keep the following items handy. 

• Marksheet of class 10 and 12
• Graduation marksheet/ certificate
• Date of birth certificate
• Address proof
• Certificate of caste category (if applicable)
• Certificate of PwD candidates (if applicable)
• Scribe certificate (if applicable)
• Credit or debit card credentials for completing the online payment
• Work experience documents

Documents Required to Upload for CAT 2022 Registration

The candidates should upload the following documents for completing the CAT 2022 registration; otherwise the application form of those candidates will be rejected. 

• Scanned passport sized photograph
  • The photograph should not be more than six months old
  • The format of the photograph should be .jpg or .jpeg
  • Dimension of the photograph should be 30mm*45mm
  • The photo should not be more than 80 Kb in size and less than 150 pixel in resolution
• Scanned signature 
  • Size should be within 80mm*35mm
  • Format of the photograph should be .jpg or .jpeg
  • The signature should be done in clear or white background
  • Signature should not be more than 80 KB and less than 150 pixel in resolution
• The caste certificate should be uploaded in PDF format (if any)
