CAT 2024 IIM Jammu Shortlisting Criteria: IIM Jammu, as one of the newly established campuses, implements the Common Admission Process (CAP), often referred to as Personal Appearance (PA). IIM Jammu is most likely to set its qualifying CAT cutoff at 94 percentile for the General category. For applicants from the EWS and NC-OBC, the expected cutoff is 77 percentile. Candidates belonging to the SC must achieve a minimum of 60 percentile, while those from the ST are required to meet a cutoff of 40 percentile. These benchmarks are crucial for ensuring a fair and comprehensive selection process for prospective students. 

The admission procedure for the IIM Jammu MBA batch of 2024-26 comprises several key steps. Initially, candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT scores. Following this, the next phase involves conducting Personal Appearances, where shortlisted candidates are evaluated through interviews and group discussions. Ultimately, a final merit list is compiled to determine which candidates will be offered admission.

CAT 2024 IIM Jammu Shortlisting Criteria: Final Selection

The final selection of candidates will be determined based on their composite scores achieved in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Those who successfully clear these phases will be evaluated to create a ranked list of candidates. Candidates who are offered admission to IIM Jammu must confirm their acceptance by submitting a written offer acceptance along with a non-refundable fee of INR 50,000. 

It is important to note that if a candidate decides to withdraw their admission, they must do so by the specified date to be eligible for a refund of the fee. However, a processing charge of INR 1,000 will be deducted from the refunded amount. Therefore, candidates should plan accordingly and adhere to the specified timelines to ensure a smooth admission process.
