CBSE 10th Result 2022: Know how result is calculated

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the 10th result today, on July 4, 2022 at the official website, cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. The CBSE class 10 exam was conducted in a two term format. The Board will not announce the name of the class 10 toppers along with the final results. Only the highest obtainable marks, passing percentage will be declared. The CBSE 10th term 2 exam was held from April 26 to May 24, 2022.
To qualify the exam, the candidates should get at least 33% marks in theory as well as in the practical components of a subject. Once the Board will publish the result, the registration process for the Compartment exam will be started. The candidates, who will not qualify the CBSE class 10 exam, will have to appear for the compartment test.

Steps to Calculate CBSE 10th Result in Percentage?
To calculate the CBSE 10th result in percentage, the candidates can refer to the below mentioned steps.
- Add the grade points of the five main subjects
- Now divide the sum by 5
- Next, multiply the result by 9.5 and the students will get the percentage
For instance, a student obtained the following scores in the five main subjects-
Subject 1: 9
Subject 2: 8
Subject 3: 8.5
Subject 4: 7.8
Subject 5: 9.1
Sum of all these five subjects= 42.4
Therefore, the CGPA will be = (42.4)/5 = 8.48
Hence, the CGPA to percentage will be = (8.48) * (9.5) = 80.56%

CBSE Class 10 Result 2022: Grading System Chart
The Board analyses the CBSE class 10 result 2022 based on a 9 point grading system. The grades are given based on the summative and formative assessments, corresponding to the range of marks. Each of the students will be allotted their grade and grading point separately.
