CBSE Receives Anonymous Tip naming Coaching Centre Owner Behind Paper Leak
- CBSE has received an unaddressed envelope on 26 March containing 4 sheets of handwritten answers of class 12 economics exam.
- The name of two schools and one coaching center located in Rajinder Nagar have been mentioned in the leakage.
The office of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) received an unaddressed envelope on 26 March 2018 containing 4 sheets of handwritten answers of Class 12 economics paper. As per the complaint filed by the board, they received an envelope which consisted of answer sheets of economic paper.

However, Delhi Police crime branch is looking into the matter and is investigating the alleged leak of Class 10 Maths and Class 12 economics paper. Two separate cases have been registered in the matter and the board has announced re-examination for both subjects. But the details of the new schedule are not out yet and will be updated shortly on the CBSE official website. According to reports, it is mandatory to re-conduct the exams to maintain the sanctity of the board examination in the country.

According to the report filed by the board, they received a complaint by fax from an unknown source on 23 March. The fax states that someone running a coaching institute in Rajinder Nagar is responsible for the paper leakage of board exams. The name of two schools in Rajinder Nagar has also been mentioned in the exam paper leak. There were also reports that the paper was leaked and circulated among students through WhatsApp group. The cases registered with Delhi Police is on the basis of charges of criminal breach of trust and cheating.
