CBSE Board Exam 2023: The CBSE board has decided to scrap the term-wise examination formula and will instead go back to the once-a-year annual examinations from the next academic session. That means the CBSE Board Exam 2023 for the next academic session will be conducted only once i.e. at the end of the academic session 2022-23. The Term 1 and Term 2 examinations that were conducted this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic will no longer be held. The CBSE board has given information about this by issuing a notification. Along with this, the board has also released the detailed syllabus for the 10th and 12th examinations 2023.

Term 1 and Term 2 exams will not be held for CBSE students from next year:

After the implementation of this decision, now CBSE Term 1 and Term 2 exams will not be conducted for CBSE students. Due to the Corona epidemic, the board (CBSE Board) had decided to conduct the examination twice a year. In the CBSE Term 1 exam held in December, questions were asked from 50% of the syllabus. At the same time, questions will come from the remaining 50 percent syllabus in the Term 2 exam, which is going to start on 26 April 2022. The questions will be of both subjective and objective types. Now the situation of Corona is once again seeing an improvement, in such a situation, CBSE has decided to conduct the exam in the old format.

The decision of the board is based on the feedback:

In the official notification issued by CBSE, it has been said that the decision to go back to the annual board exam format has been taken after analyzing the new exam format and taking feedback from all the stakeholders. Because now the exam will be conducted only once at the end of the year, so the syllabus of the syllabus has also been released on the basis of that.
