CBSE Cautions Regarding Misleading Information on Class 10, 12 Term 2 Exam Pattern 2022
Several online media platforms are circulating incorrect information over major changes to the exam format for class X and XII exams. Students are hereby informed that the Board announced the changes in exam pattern mentioned in circular number 51, dated 5th July 2021.
In view of the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2022, it has been noted by team CBSE that some of the online educational media platforms have been circulating misleading information to students. This has caused an uproar of confusion amongst the candidates appearing for the CBSE Board Exam 2022 and also amongst the schools affiliated with the CBSE Board.
CBSE warns in its Public Advisory dated January 03, 2022, that a lot of such incorrect articles have been tagged along the lines of "Breaking News: Major Exam Pattern Changes in both Class 10 and Class 12 Term 2 Exams". Through this advisory, CBSE has firmly reinforced that the changes mentioned in their previous circular (dated July 05, 2021) only uphold validity, and no further changes were made by CBSE for both Class 10 and Class 12.
It must also be noted that CBSE Board Exams 2022 for Class 10 and Class 12 are scheduled for the months of March-April 2022 and that the official timetable for the academic year 2021-22 has not yet been released (as of January 05, 2022).
