CBSE Class 10 Results to be Declared on June 3
- According to sources, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results of Class 10 examinations on June 3, 2017.
- This year, a total number of 16,67,573 students from around 16,000 schools appeared for Class 10 boards.
According to sources, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results of Class 10 examinations on June 3, 2017. However, the official announcement has not come from the board yet. Once the results are out, the students can visit the official portal of CBSE.
This year, a total number of 16,67,573 students from around 16,000 schools appeared for Class 10 examinations. The exams and results were not only delayed due to assembly polls in five states but also due to moderation policy issue. This year, CBSE continued the moderation policy as per the directions of Delhi High Court.

CBSE has also successfully started the post-results counselling process for the 20th consecutive year. The counselling began on May 28, 2017. Through post-result counselling process, students and parents can get solutions to the common psychological problems related to Class 10 and Class 12 results.
In the year 2016, the overall pass percentage in the Class 10 examinations was 96.21 percent. Last year, a total number of 14,96,066 students appeared for Class 10 examinations. The numbers of students who appeared for Class 10 examinations in 2017 has increased.

CBSE declared Class 12 results on May 28, 2017. This year, Class 12 results were also delayed due to moderation policy row. However, Javadekar assured that the board will declare results on time. CBSE might follow moderation policy from the coming academic session.
