CBSE Class 10th and 12th Compartment Exam Registration Begins
- Candidates can now apply for the compartment exams of class 10th and 12th through the official website of CBSE.
- According to the report, 1,86,067 students have got compartment in CBSE class 10 board exams and 91,818 students have got compartment in class 12 board exams.
The online submission process for students placed in CBSE class 10 and class 12 compartment examination has started. The CBSE compartment examination will take place in July 2018 and only those candidates who have successfully completed their online application process will be allowed to appear in the exams. Students who appeared in the March 2018 board examination (Class 10 & Class 12) as regular students and are placed as compartment students should approach their respective school for the same.
Also, before starting with the online submission, it is mandatory for all CBSE affiliated school to register themselves. For the registration, they can use the affiliation number and the password.

As per the records, around 1,86,067 students have got compartment in CBSE class 10 board exams and 91,818 students have got compartment in class 12. The last date of application is 21st June.
Steps for Online Application of CBSE Compartment Exams:
- Candidates are required to enter their School No., Roll No, as mentioned on the hall ticket.
- Enter the address and select the subject (only applicable for class 12 students).
- Click on submit and upload a recent colour photograph.
- Pay the application fees and take the print out of the same.
Important Points for CBSE Class 12 Compartment Candidates:
- Candidates who appeared in CBSE class 12 regular board exams and declared as compartment can apply only in one subject in which they have been placed in compartment.
- Also, candidates with 6 subjects can appear in any of the two subjects and candidates who appeared in all 6 subjects in March 2018 and are declared Pass but did not clear in one subject can apply for improvement category.
- Candidates who appeared for the exams in March 2017 as a full subject candidate and could not pass the examination in July 2017 and March 2018 should apply privately for the Compartment Exam July 2018.
Important Points for CBSE Class 10 Compartment Candidates:
- Candidates who appeared for board examination in March 2018 and are declared as compartment candidate can apply for only one or two subjects.

Important Points for Private Candidates:
- Candidates who appeared in class 10 and class 12 board examination in March 2018 as private candidates and are placed under compartment, can apply for the compartment examinations through the official website of the board.
- Also, candidates should keep in mind that merely submitting the application form would not entitle them to sit for the compartment exams. Candidates need to make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria to appear in the exams.
