No More Waiting Long for Improvement Exams: Good News for CBSE Class 12, 10 Students
CBSE Class 10 and 12 students will not have to wait for the next year to appear in improvement exams now. CBSE has announced that the compartment exams will now be conducted soon after the board exams.
CBSE Class 12, 10 Board Exams 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made an announcement for the Class 12 and Class 10 board exams students. According to the CBSE, these students will now be given the opportunity to appear in the improvement exams the same year as the board exams.

Earlier, students had to wait for the next year to appear in compartment exams to improve their performance. But now, they will not have to wait for the next year. This year i.e., in 2021, the improvement exams will be conducted soon after the board exams and the best scores out of the two exams will be considered for the scorecard.

As per the arrangement made in the line with the NEP (National Education Policy) , this whole provision will be restricted to only one subject. CBSE Notification also clarified that candidates who manage to improve their performance through the tests will receive a combined mark sheet. This notification has come as a relief to the Class 12 and 10 board exam students who are to appear in the exams commencing on May 2021. This will give them a quick opportunity to improve their overall performance.
