CBSE Class 12 Biotechnology 2023 Analysis: On February 16, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., CBSE 12th Biotechnology 2023 paper was conducted at 6,759 examination centres throughout the country as a pen-and-paper-based examination. There was no overall choice but an internal choice was provided within selective questions. - The paper was well-balanced and had direct memory-based questions from NCERT as well as a few application-based questions.
- The assertion-reason and multiple-choice questions were said to be easy while the opinions on the difficulty level of the descriptive questions were seen to vary.
- Taking the opinion of the majority of the students, sections B, C, and E can be classified as Moderate with a few tough questions.
- "The internal choice in section E really helped," said a student. "I could not do one question but could manage the alternative question in it."
- The case-based questions in section D were said to be easy to moderate.

CBSE 12th Biotechnology 2023 Analysis: Paper Moderate
It was reported that the Biotechnology paper was of a Moderate difficulty level. Although some application-based questions were tricky, it was balanced out with direct NCERT-based questions. The paper was not lengthy either. "Any student who had studied well would be able to score good marks," said a student while sharing the analysis.

As per the official notice released by CBSE, a total of 16,96,770 students have registered for CBSE 12th Exam 2023. Out of these 9,51,332 candidates are male students while 7,45,733 candidates are female students. The exam is set to be conducted at 6,759 examination centres throughout the country.
