CBSE Class 12 Physics Blueprint 2024: CBSE Class 12 Physics exam will be held on March 4, 2024. Hence, it is time to gear up the last-minute preparations and for the same, the candidates should refer to the chapter-wise weightage of the syllabus and CBSE Class 12 Physics paper pattern. The candidates will have to answer a total of 33 compulsory questions in the Physics paper. The questions will be categorized into five sections based on the marks of the questions, such as Section A, Section B, Section C, Section D, and Section E. Note, that all the sections are compulsory to answer. To answer the questions, candidates will not be allowed to use the calculators.

Check out the important instructions related to the CBSE Class 12 Physics blueprint 2024 for the upcoming exam here:

  • Candidates will be asked 33 questions, which need to be answered mandatorily
  • The questions will be categorized into five sections, such as sections A, B, C, D, and E. All sections are mandated to answer
  • In Section A, the candidates will get a total of 16 questions. Among them 12 questions are objective based and rest 4 questions are Assertion Reasoning based of 1 mark
  • In Section B, candidates will have to answer 5 questions for 2 marks; whereas they will get 7 questions for 3 marks in Section C
  • Section D covers the two case study-based questions and the weightage of each of the questions is 4 marks
  • Lastly, in Section E, there will be a total of 3 questions with 5 marks
  • No overall choices of questions will be there
  • Candidates are not allowed to use calculators inside the exam hall
  • Also, the candidates can apply the following values of physical constants wherever it required:
    • c = 3 x 108 m/s
    • me = 9.1 x10-31 kg
    • µ0 = 4π x 10-7 TmA-1
    • h= 6.63X10-34 Js
    • Avogadro's number = 6.023X1023 per gram mole
