CBSE to Release the Date Sheet for Board Exams 2018 Next Week
- The Controller of Exams (CBSE), Mr. KK Choudhary clarified that CBSE Board Exams 2018 date sheet will be released in the first week of January 2018.
- CBSE had also announced that Class 10 & 12 Board Exams would begin in March 2018.
The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) confirmed that it would release the timetable or date sheet for CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 Board Exams in the first week of January 2018, informed the Controller of Exams (CBSE), Mr. KK Choudhary. The date sheet will be uploaded on the official website of CBSE, he added.
Earlier, CBSE announced that Class 10 & 12 Board Exams would begin in March 2018. There were speculations that CBSE delayed the release of date sheet for board exams due to elections in some states. However, Mr. KK Sharma clarified that there would be no delay in exams and the date sheet will be released in the first week of January.

This year, CBSE schools across a few states have decided to conduct pre-board exam for Class 10 students and these exams were scheduled to begin from January 3, 2018. CBSE reintroduced Class 10 board exams almost after seven years. With an objective to make students aware of board exam pattern, the board advised schools to conduct pre-board exams. Most of the CBSE schools were happy with the reintroduction of Class 10 board exams.

Class 12 students must plan their preparation strategies to perform well in board exams. At the same time, students aspiring to join engineering or medical courses must prepare for the entrance exams along with board exams.
