The India we know is the gift given to us by these great leaders, who worked incessantly towards nation-building and hence, through this programme, the CBSE aims at a huge participation of students.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an expression series "Mere Sapno ka Bharat (India of My Dreams)" which would take place from 12th January’16 to 23rd January’16. The board has decided to dedicate12 days to the country.
"Today's youth has many dreams for this country; dreams that deserve to be heard. It would be worth venturing into their world of dreams. The period between 12th January’16 and 23rd January’16, which happen to be the birthdays of Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose respectively, is chosen to provide a platform to the children of this country to share their dreams for Bharat," the circular issued by CBSE said.
This programme allows students to take part in slogan writing, composition/essay writing (250 words for Classes 1 to 8 and 500 words for Classes 9 to 12), poem writing, poster/painting, skit/drama etc.
Students will submit their entries to the Ministry of Human Resource Development and after analysis, the most frequently expressed "dreams" will be compiled in a booklet.
